Born in Barberino di Mugello, Firenze, in 1931. The characteristics of his plastic art, solid moulding and traditional figuration, which is however rich in existential and expressionistic connotations, relate to the colours, obtained using heterogeneous materials such as bronze, ceramics, wood, marble, precious stones and fibreglass, with a focus on the centrality of the human figure.
