He is one of the most successful sculptors of the new English school. After his first experiences connected to Minimalism and Conceptual Art, Cragg proposed a new concept of sculpture made from various found materials: pieces of urban rubbish, such as wood, bottles, pieces of plastic, plates and toys. Today Cragg is creating complex huge sculptures with a post-industrial taste and rich in philosophic and cultural meanings.
