Born in 1972 in Santiago, Chile. Formed in Chile, now lives and works in New York. He is among the most interesting Chilean artists on the international scene. Navarro belongs to the generation of Latin American artists that since the 90s have been reworking the relationship between modernity and contemporaneity, derived from the experiences of the more purist vanguard of modern art, from the geometric abstractionism and constructivism, up to the minimalism, the optical art optical and and its more contemporary use. Navarro realizes complex luminous sculptures, developing the concept of conversion of energy building elements and installations with materials of everyday use.
