Born in Belluno, Italy, in 1960, he lives and works in Turin. Irony and freedom of expression make De Paris go beyond the limits of reality and drag the audience inside the human DNA, which is metaphorically made of huge steel chromosomes, where beakers and laboratory reactors interact with striking blown glass shapes, objects of various types, lights and videos. Man is the central theme of De Paris’ artistic concept and is interpreted in his innate tension towards the future. As there are no maps of the future, its outlines can only be traced by the new technologies.
