Born in Saint-Étienne, France, in 1964. Othoniel first began to express his personal mythologies into artworks of different shapes depending on the espressive way used: installation, film, sculpture, photography. In the 1990’s he mainly used sulphur to create his sculptures and introduced natural glass into his work only later.
