Mimmo Rotella
On the walls of one of the two dining rooms hang the works of the Calabrian artist, who became famous in the 1950s for his “décollages”: pictures created by superimposing torn posters, so that the images which emerge from the lacerations take on a unique intensity. Works never seen before, created especially for Byblos with scraps of advertising posters for well known fashion brands. |
